Mr. Harold Holt was the 17th prime ministers of Australia. His death was also very mysterious. Mr. Harold went swimming 50 years prior and vanished for eternity. In any case, exactly what occurred on Dec. 17, 1967, when the seventeenth PM of Australia, Harold Holt, go for a swim at Cheviot Beach close Portsea, Victoria. After watching British round-the-world sailor Alec Rose arriving at Port Phillip Bay, with a group of friends, Mr. Holt suggested they head for a swim before lunch. After that, he never came back again.

The reality was rather more mundane and far less thrilling. Certainly, Harold Holt was charming, an attractive, youthful-looking 59-year-old, who had replaced Sir Robert Menzies as leader of the Liberal party and prime minister barely two years earlier. He had been on the beach with his “good friend and neighbor” Marjorie Gillespie, his wife Zara having remained in Canberra that weekend, and it was Gillespie watching on the beach as Holt’s silver hair disappeared without even a wave or sign of distress. According to Zara Holt, this was nothing unusual – “he was having affairs everywhere” – and it was also why there was no bodyguard with Holt at the time: “He made a big thing of never having a guard anywhere near him.
His body was never recovered. His disappearance triggered a range of speculation about connections to political intrigue, personal scandal, and international intervention,” much of which has persisted for 50 years.

Jimmy Hoffa

By now, it's been well established that Teamsters kingpin Jimmy Hoffa was offed by the mob after vanishing from the parking lot of a restaurant in suburban Detroit on July 30, 1975. But for decades, even after the super-corrupt union leader was declared dead in absentia a full eight years later, the question remains: what in the hell did they do with his body? On July 30, 1975, he disappeared from a restaurant in suburban Detroit under circumstances that have never been fully determined. He was legally declared “presumed dead” in 1982.

4.Bison Dele:

Bison Dele was a former NBA player. Mysterious Death Of Bison Dele was very painful to his fans. That fateful voyage began on July 6, 2002, from the Tahitian harbor town of Papeete, headed for an island called Raiatea, and then, ultimately, Hawaii. On board were Dele, his brother, Kevin, himself having changed his name to Miles Dabord, his girlfriend Erica Weise, Serena Karlan (dale's girlfriend), and Bertrand Saldo, the boat's captain. Over the next 48 hours, three phone calls coming from the boat were logged.

But starting on July 8, all communications with the boat ceased. What actually took place on the boat will never be known. Erica Weise told the Los Angeles Times that Dabord and Dele were fighting and Dele's girlfriend Serena Karlan was fatally injured when she tried to break up the altercation. Bertrand Saldo, the watercraft's skipper, was then slaughtered by Dele in light of the fact that the chief needed to report Karlan's demise to specialists, said Weise. Dele and Dabord continued to fight, and Dabord shot and killed Dele in self-defense, said Weise. She told the newspaper that Dabord said he weighted the three bodies and dumped them overboard. Anyways none of the bodies have been recovered. What actually happened on that boat? We will never know, as Dabord took all his secrets with him. After telling his grisly tale, Dabord left Weise and fled to Mexico, while the horrified Weise contacted the Sonoma County Sherrif's Department, who in turn reached out to the FBI.

Edwards disappeared on 1 February 1995, on the day when he and James Dean Bradfield were due to fly to the US on a promotional tour. In the two weeks before his disappearance, Edwards withdrew £200 a day from his bank account, which totaled £2,800 by the day of the scheduled flight. Some speculated that he needed the money for the American trip, and it was also mentioned he'd ordered a new desk for his flat from a shop in Cardiff— although there was no record of that having been paid for (plus, this would have only explained half of the money withdrawn). According to Emma Forrest, as quoted in A Version Of Reason, 'the night before he disappeared Edwards gave a friend a book called 'novel with cocaine', instructing her to read the introduction, which details the author staying in a mental asylum before vanishing'. Whilst staying at the Embassy Hotel in Bayswater Road, London, according to Rob Jovanovic's biography, Edwards removed some books and videos from his bag. These included a copy of the play Equus. He wrapped them carefully in a box with a note that said: "I love you". He then decorated the box like a birthday present and decorated the outside of it with collages and literary quotations. These included a picture of a Germanic-looking house and Bugs Bunny. The package was addressed to a "Jo".

Jean Elizabeth Spangler was born in Seattle, Washington on September 2, 1923, and was an American dancer, model, and bit-part actress in Hollywood films and early television. She mysteriously disappeared on October 7, 1949, at the age of 26. Spangler was a divorcee and had a daughter, Christine Louise Benner, with her ex-husband Dexter Benner. On October 7, 1949, Spangler left her home in Los Angeles where she lived with her mother and daughter at about 5 pm. Spangler's mother was out of town at the time visiting family. Spangler left her daughter in the care of her sister-in-law, Sophie, and told her that she was going to meet with Dexter to talk about a late child support payment and then she was going to do work on a movie set. A clerk at a store near Jean's home is the last person believed to have seen her. The clerk said that it appeared Jean was waiting for someone. There have been no confirmed sightings of her since. Not surprisingly, the press leaped on the story — a missing Hollywood starlet proved too delicious to avoid — and quickly posited many theories: that she was killed by the mafia after an affair with noted mobster Dave Ogul, who disappeared two days after Spangler; that she died during a botched abortion, with her purse placed in a public space in order to suggest something more sinister at play; and — most salaciously of all — that she was a victim of the same murderer who killed Elizabeth Short, dubbed the “Black Dahlia” by press, in 1947.

10. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose:

If Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Died in Crash, Why the Spying, Asks Family: 10 Developments
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is the forgotten hero of India's freedom struggle. Once an integral part of the Congress, he broke with Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru and fought bitterly with Sardar Patel. Bose rejected non-violence and joined up with the Japanese and the Nazis to fight the British in World War II. He was no Nazi himself, but he believed that the only hope for Indian independence lay in the defeat of the British Empire. As we know, the British and their allies actually won the Second World War. But even as the British army was closing in, the Japanese announced that Bose died in a plane crash. But did he, really? To this day millions of Indians continue to believe that Bose survived and escaped the advancing British army. Indian politics have always been filled with drama that we have come to enjoy sadistically. It has never disappointed us before and I am sure it will not change in the next decade or so. Presenting you yet another controversy that has stirred the nation for more than 70 years. The famous theory behind his disappearance was that on his way to Russia on August 18, 1945, the plane he was traveling in, Japanese Army Air Force Mitsubishi Ki-21 bomber, had engine problems and crashed in Taiwan. He died of third-degree burns. His body was cremated in two days and his ashes were kept in Renkoji Temple in Tokyo, Japan. This was disagreed by his followers and relatives.

Netaji didn't die in the plane crash. It was a theory floated to facilitate his escape to the Soviet Union. Japanese intelligence agencies had floated the theory so that Bose can safely escape to the Soviet Union," claimed Maj Gen G D Bakshi (retd), author of the book "Bose: The Indian Samurai - Netaji and the INA Military Assessment".
